MamaResource.com® was started by me, Amy, a stay-at-home mom. During my first pregnancy, I spent countless hours on the internet searching for information about pregnancy and birth. Since I’ve become a mother, I’ve spent even more time searching for resources regarding natural living and parenting. I explore ways to live a more natural life including healthy eating, nontoxic household cleaners, and holistic/natural approaches to building and maintaining immune systems. The internet is a wonderful tool; but, when you are short on time as most of us mothers are, this wonderful tool can sometimes be overwhelming and a time-consuming option. Even when I found great contacts and web sites, it was difficult for me to efficiently keep track of all of them.

Other mothers have communicated to me their needs including errand-runners, breastfeeding training, in-home childcare, home-delivered items, baby gift baskets, cloth diaper supplies, holistic practitioners and home maintenance help.

After understanding my own needs and then learning the needs of other mothers, I realized the need for MamaResource.com®.
